Two D at the blue line, a forward in front of the net with a defender and the next forward by the boards.
How to run it
The defencemen move the puck along the blue line while the forward screens the goalie and tips a low shot. Then a real shot through the screen and the rebound. Trains point shots that get through, net-front positioning and being first to rebounds.
Set-up
Two defencemen at the blue line with spare pucks. A forward in front of the net with a defender leaning on him. The next forward waits by the boards. Goalie in net.

Coaching points
- Forward: stand in the goalie's line of sight, stick on the ice and the blade angled to the puck.
- D: a low shot that gets through beats a hard one that is blocked.
- Move along the blue line to find a lane past the first defender.
- After the shot: everyone to the net for the rebound.
Variations
Easier
No defender in front of the net and shots from a stationary puck.
Harder
