This Privacy Policy explains how Appdaso Sweden AB (“Appdaso”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use SquadSpace (the “Service”), including our mobile apps and website.

  • Role in a team (e.g., coach, player, parent)

  • Language preference and basic settings

B) Team and event data (created by users)

  • Team name and sport

  • Trainings, matches, cups (dates, times, locations, notes)

  • Squad lists / call-ups and RSVP responses (availability, attendance)

  • Formations and tactics content created in the app

  • Messages sent in team chat

C) Usage and device data

  • App interactions (e.g., features used, screens viewed)

  • Device information (device model, OS version, app version)

  • Approximate location inferred from IP address (website) (not precise GPS unless you allow it)

  • Log data (timestamps, error logs, crash reports)

D) Communications and support

  • Emails or messages you send to support

  • Feedback and bug reports

E) Payments (if/when subscriptions exist)

If you purchase a subscription through Apple or Google, we do not receive your full payment card details. Payments are handled by the platform provider (Apple/Google). We may receive purchase status and subscription identifiers needed to provide access.

3) How we use your data

We use personal data to:

  • Provide the Service (create accounts, teams, events, chat, RSVPs, formations)

  • Organize team activity (show schedules, attendance, and role-based access)

  • Communicate with you (service emails, support responses, important updates)

  • Improve and secure the Service (analytics, debugging, fraud prevention, security)

  • Comply with legal obligations (accounting, lawful requests, enforcement of terms)

4) Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

If you are in the EEA or UK, we process personal data under these legal bases:

  • Contract (to provide the Service you request)

  • Legitimate interests (security, product improvement, customer support)

  • Consent (where required, e.g., certain cookies or marketing emails)

  • Legal obligation (compliance with laws, lawful requests)

5) How teams work and who can see what

SquadSpace is designed for teams and organizations.

  • Team admins/coaches may be able to view team-related data such as event details, RSVPs, and chat messages within that team.

  • Players/parents can view the team content that is shared with them and submit RSVPs.

  • Your content is visible to the members of the team(s) you join, according to your role and permissions.

If you join a team operated by a club/organization, that organization may be responsible for how it uses team data. In such cases, the organization may be an independent controller for certain processing.

6) Sharing and disclosures

We do not sell personal data.

We may share personal data with:

A) Service providers (processors)

We use trusted vendors to run and improve SquadSpace (e.g., hosting, databases, analytics, error reporting, email delivery). They process data only under our instructions and for the purposes described in this Policy.

B) Legal and safety reasons

We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security of users, Appdaso, or the public.

C) Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you if required.

7) International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required (e.g., transfers from the EEA/UK), we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful mechanisms.

8) Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary:

  • Account and team data: kept while your account/team is active

  • Chat and event content: kept until deleted by admins/users or the team is removed

  • Support messages: kept as needed to resolve issues and maintain records

  • Logs and security data: kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting

You can request deletion (see Section 11). Some data may be retained longer if required by law or for legitimate security purposes.

9) Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data. No system is 100% secure, but we work to prevent unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

10) Cookies and tracking (website)

Our website may use cookies or similar technologies for:

  • Basic site functionality

  • Performance/analytics (to understand usage and improve)

You can manage cookies in your browser settings and, where applicable, through cookie consent controls on the website.

11) Your rights and choices

How to exercise rights

Email us at contact@squadspaceapp.com with your request. We may ask you to verify your identity.

12) Push notifications and email preferences

You can control push notifications in your device settings.
If we send non-essential emails (e.g., marketing), you can unsubscribe at any time. Service messages related to your account (e.g., important updates) may still be sent.

13) Children’s privacy

SquadSpace may be used by minors as part of a team. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without appropriate authorization where required by law. If you believe a child has provided personal data without proper permission, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

14) Third-party platforms (Apple/Google)

If you download SquadSpace through the App Store or Google Play, those platforms may collect data under their own privacy policies. This Policy covers data processed by Appdaso through SquadSpace.

15) Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice in the app or on our website. The “Last updated” date shows when it was last revised.
