Terms of Service (SquadSpace)

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SquadSpace (the “Service”), including our mobile applications and website, operated by Appdaso Sweden AB (“Appdaso”, “we”, “us”).

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

SquadSpace provides tools for sports teams, including team communication, shared calendars, events (trainings, matches, cups), call-ups and RSVP, formations, and a tactics drawing board. Features may vary by plan and may change over time.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your account information up to date.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials

  • All activity that occurs under your account

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

3. Team Roles and Team Administration

SquadSpace supports different roles (for example: coach/admin, player, parent). Team admins/coaches may be able to:

  • Invite or remove members

  • Create and manage events

  • View and manage RSVP/availability

  • Manage formations and tactics shared within the team

  • Moderate team content and chat within the team

If you join a team, you understand that certain information you post (such as RSVP responses and chat messages) may be visible to other team members depending on your role and the team’s settings.

4. User Content

“User Content” includes any content you submit or create using the Service, such as:

  • Messages in team chat

  • Event details and notes

  • RSVP responses and attendance info

  • Formations, tactics, drawings, and files (if applicable)

You retain ownership of your User Content. However, you grant Appdaso a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and process your User Content solely to provide and improve the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any User Content you upload or share.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Violating any applicable law or regulation

  • Harassing, abusing, or threatening others

  • Posting illegal, hateful, or harmful content

  • Attempting to access accounts or data that are not yours

  • Interfering with or disrupting the Service, systems, or security

  • Uploading malware or harmful code

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

7. Subscriptions, Trials, and Payments (if applicable)

If the Service offers paid plans:

  • Prices, billing intervals, and plan features will be shown at purchase

  • Taxes may apply depending on your location

  • Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled according to the platform rules (Apple App Store / Google Play)

If you purchase through Apple or Google, your payment is handled by the platform provider. We may receive subscription status information needed to provide access.

8. Cancellation

You can cancel a subscription at any time through the platform where you purchased it (e.g., App Store or Google Play). Cancellation stops future renewals; access may continue until the end of the current billing period.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content provided by Appdaso, is owned by Appdaso or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source code from the Service unless permitted by law.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services. Appdaso is not responsible for third-party services, their content, or their policies. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms.

11. Availability and Changes

We work to keep SquadSpace available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, update, or discontinue features at any time.

12. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Appdaso will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

  • Appdaso’s total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount paid by you to Appdaso for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or €50 if you have not paid anything)

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Appdaso from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of:

  • Your use of the Service

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your User Content

  • Your violation of any rights of another person or entity

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

  • You violate these Terms

  • We must do so to comply with law

  • It is necessary to protect the Service, users, or Appdaso

Upon termination, your right to use the Service stops immediately. Some provisions of these Terms will survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles.

If you are a consumer in the EEA/UK, you may also have rights under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice in the Service or on our website. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
