Bounce and Listen
A playful warm-up where everyone has their own ball. The children get hundreds of bounces, learn to control the ball with their fingertips and to look up while dribbling.
The Ball Thief
A dribbling game for the youngest. Everyone bounces their ball while a ball thief tries to steal one. The children learn to shield the ball with the body, bounce with their heads up and find open space.
Mini Handball 3v3
Small-sided match play: three court players and a goalkeeper per team on a smaller court. Lots of touches and shots, and the children learn to play freely and restart quickly after a goal.
Pass and Follow Square
A classic passing drill: pass to the next cone and follow your pass. Trains passing and catching with both hands and moving straight after you pass.
Bounce Slalom and Jump Shot
Bounce through a slalom, take three steps up to the 9 m line and finish with a jump shot. Trains bouncing with both hands, the step rhythm and shooting against a goalkeeper.
Running Passes in Threes
Three players run the length of the court in three lanes and pass at speed, middle–wing–middle, and the middle player finishes from 9 m. Trains passing and catching at full speed and the step rule.
Wing Shots from Both Wings
The wing gives the ball to the back, runs round the cone, catches at speed, jumps into the goal area and widens the angle. Trains the wing's running line, catching on the move and shooting from a tight angle.
Goalkeeper Series from Five Positions
The goalkeeper faces shots from the left wing, left back, centre back, right back and right wing and sets their position for each one. Trains positioning, moving between angles and quick reactions.
Crossing Between the Backs
The centre back attacks diagonally to one side and the left back crosses behind and gets the ball in the gap. Trains the timing of the cross, running angles and pulling defenders along.
Fast Break in Waves
After a save the fast break starts: the wings run as the first wave, the backs follow as the second. When the first wave is stopped the ball goes to the second wave, which uses the overload. Trains speed, decisions and the structure of the fast break.
6-0 Defence Shifting
Six defenders move with the ball as the attack passes it round. The defender facing the ball steps out, the neighbours cover and the whole defence slides to the ball side. Trains teamwork, stepping out and closing gaps.
The Wing Runs In
The wing passes to the back and runs in along the 6 m line as a second pivot. The back finds the wing in the gap, or shoots when the defence drops to cover the run. Trains the run-in, timing and reading the defence.
3v3 with a Pivot – Read and Choose
Left back, centre back and pivot against three defenders. The pivot sets a screen and the centre goes past it. If the neighbour helps, the back is free; if the defenders switch, the pivot rolls towards goal. Trains the screen and roll, decisions and teamwork.
